This is the third article in a series about my Chronic Fatigue Story. I came to meet Jack Temple as a result of a book falling off a shelf in a bookstore – right you say but that’s exactly what happened! He helped me on my road to recovery from Chronic Fatigue and start a new life of helping others with their health.
Jack Temple was to become a close friend. He told me things that only someone with amazing powers of discernment and understanding of how the body works, could know. He told me what to do. After I knew that what I had been doing to that point wasn’t working. I was ready to listen. And I listened.
He told me to change my diet immediately and I did.
He told me what supplements to start taking and I did.
He taped homeopathic tablets to energy meridians in order to draw out poison from my body. I still to this day never really understood how this worked. I understand energy meridians, acupuncture is based entirely on this communication system. I also understand the energy power of homeopathy. As a homeopath, I see and believe this consistently . However, the combination is not a therapy I have seen since. But I cannot dispute the results, there is absolutely no doubt that my health started to change for the better. I started to feel energy flowing again. I knew I was starting a new life. I continued to see Jack twice a week for the next few months. Jack had given me hope.
It wasn’t long before Jack recommended that I learn how to dowse because he saw that I had the potential to be a healer………..
Well, as much as I loved Jack and believed in what he did, I felt that if I was to help others, I needed to do it a different way. At that time, I couldn’t see myself as a dowsing healer.
But as I began to feel better, I started to devour books on alternative healing and health. I read everything I could get my hands on.
With Jack’s help, I was undertaking a cellular detoxification program. And I was changing the way my cells communicated. I was removing decades of toxic overload. I became an advocate for organic food.
I stopped ingesting gluten, wheat and dairy products. While this was difficult for me, it changed my bowel health immediately. I also started to shed a lot of emotional baggage from my past. My self esteem rose and my feelings of inadequacy diminished. Years of poor health take a heavy toll on one’s own feelings of self worth. No longer…………
I also took large doses of probiotics to help my bowel heal from years of antibiotic abuse.
My energy started to improve exponentially. And then a miracle happened….
I fell pregnant with my eldest son, Jamie. I had wanted to be a mother for so long, I was elated. Pregnancy is not a time for detoxification so I stopped my programs and just supported my health with appropriate supplementation and gentle massage. I consulted Jack throughout my pregnancy and my health continued to improve. I wasn’t working at this time so I had time to rest and take good care of myself.
Jamie was born in November 1999. I returned to my management consulting work in 2000 and continued to work until Harry’s birth in October 2001. I was studying homeopathy during this time and Harry’s birth made me decide it was time to change career and focus 100% on health and healing.
Jack Temple passed away in February 2004. His legacy continues through the lives he transformed including mine. He was a mentor and a friend. I opened a homeopathic clinic out of my home and started helping other families learn about the power of homeopathy.
My studying didn’t end with homeopathy, I went on to qualify in quantum biofeedback and bioEnergetic Medicine which combines botanical herbs, homeopathy and cellular nutrition. I know the power that our body has for healing. However, through toxins of various nature, we become stagnant, our energy fields vibrate at lower and lower frequencies that attract disease.
Healing is about helping people to raise their vibrational energy and allow their body to once again become a healing temple. It is not about doing nothing – it does take focused effort through food and cellular detoxification.
My life changed that dark November morning. I am so grateful for my illness and how it opened up new possibilities for me. My health is not perfect but it is better than it has ever been. I am more relaxed than I have ever been. One of the most rewarding parts of my life is watching other people transform their lives from poor health to vibrant health through the use of herbs, homeopathy, whole food and cellular nutrition.
My health is better today as I approach fifty next year, than it has ever been. I am loving life and loving my role as healer, mom and blogger.
Over the next few days, I will share with you some of the specific organ strategies that are helpful for uplifting the toxic overload and also ways to strengthen your immune system and protect yourself from viral infections.
If I can encourage you, my message to you is to never give up. Find people who have recovered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and believe that you too can be healed. And finally take responsibility for your own health. God designed a life for you that is full of promise and hope. He didn’t say it was going to be easy but He does promise us a future. Your best days are ahead of you.
If you are wondering about your health, and you have unanswered questions, don’t hesitate to write to me. Sometimes it only takes one step in the right direction to begin your journey of transformation. But it takes that step………….
Your friend and partner in wellness and prosperity,

Hi Clare. The body is such an amazing thing. It can make us happy when it’s working properly and make us miserable when it’s not. I am glad that you found a way to deal with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It’s certainly no fun to face exhaustion day after day, and in addition you are able to help others. Thanks for you insights into this debilitating disease.
All the best,
Leslie
