After Adversity comes Opportunity – from ILG into the future

by clare on April 5, 2010

ILG email received on 18 March – when I opened my Outlook to find an email waiting from ILG that said that they were no longer going to support the Network Marketing model, my initial reaction was complete disbelief. I quickly then jumped on skype ( communication links of today) to see what my fellow distributors were saying.

I was even more amazed when my upline jumped into another opportunity within 30 minutes taking a considerable team with him. Of course, he had so much to lose by not making a fast decision. So, was I stupid not to join the masses and join one of the three other opportunities that most of our mastermind team went with in a matter of days?

I think not. Firstly, after having tried and tested several Network marketing opportunities in order to find the “best fit” for my network, I was in no hurry to repeat that legacy. I waited and even thought and communicated that I may not be returning to network marketing at all. However, that left me considering the relationships that I have started to grow through my efforts to date.

You can’t argue the model – it makes sense and if you look to the leaders, it does exactly what it claims to do – create time and financial freedom. So I found myself doing battle with that one. If I walked away, would I be giving up on the dream that I have been pursuing for several years?

Also, what was it about ILG that finally got my attention? I loved the product – personal development and I loved the concept of masterminding with other distributors. It seemed like we were working in one stream, not flowing against each other. I liked that. In the end, I reasoned that I could continue to collaborate with others, perhaps not in the same company but we could support each other in the interests of the industry.

And in the aftermath of the ILG debacle, I was blessed to receive so many encouraging phone calls from people I had never thought I had connected with! Hallelujah – you got me to see the power of online connecting and how I could truly make a difference to other people if I just STICK AT THIS GAME. Keep going and I will become the very person I have always dreamed of being. This is a personal development business and we only achieve to the level of our own personal development.

Thus, I am now thrilled to tell you that I have agreed to join Izzy Matos of Stemtech. Note that I said I joined Izzy first, then Stemtech. This is exactly how it should be. Izzy is a 30 year veteran of this business. He has been instrumental in assisting tens of people to become Millionaires. What I love about Izzy ( I first met Izzy at a training in London 2 years ago) is that he gets stuck into the business. He travels the globe inspiring others to jump on board in order to build their dreams. He is a true leader in every sense of the word and I look forward to a long and properous friendship with him. Now to Stemtech – they have been in business 5 years (that is important – stood the test of time) , they are global (physically present in 16 countries) with another five to come shortly and they manufacture and sell a product that is unique in the wellness world and that is critical to success. Stemtech’s global presence was a critical factor in my choice because I like most of you build the majority of my contacts today on the internet and I want to be able to offer you an opportunity to build a business with me.

So I encourage each one of you still searching for a Network Marketing home, to give Izzy and I fair consideration as a leadership team. We bring years of leadership and mentoring experience. You will have access to every tool you require in this business. Your success is truly my success and I look forward to getting to know you. Whether you live in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, London, New York or Johannesburg you can build this business with us starting right now. There has never been a better time to build a network marketing business globally than today.
